What is clean energy? Well there is no direct description of what clean energy is, there are various interpretations of what is should be.

For example, oil, gas and coal are not really referred to as clean energy due to their impact on the environment. Now here at PelHeat we work in the biomass energy sector, and more specifically with pellets. Now the reason we do this is biomass in its raw form is not a very clean energy resource as it produces smoke when burnt. However, through compressing the biomass into pellets we can create a much cleaner biomass fuel that produces no visible smoke during combustion. However, in the future pellets will be become an even cleaner form of energy with advancements such as torrefaction. For instance some of the cheapest pellet mills sold on the internet are animal feed pellet mills from China.
